Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Remote / Dubai Office

Job Description:
SnipeEX is looking for a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Engineer to help protect our infrastructure, applications, and customer data. In this role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring, testing, and strengthening the security of our systems across all layers.

You’ll work closely with dev, ops, and compliance teams to ensure we stay ahead of vulnerabilities, threats, and industry regulations — especially within the crypto/financial space.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular security audits, assessments, and penetration tests

  • Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents

  • Implement and manage firewalls, access control, and intrusion detection

  • Ensure secure development practices across the engineering team

  • Collaborate on security policies, user access, and infrastructure hardening

  • Review third-party services and smart contract integrations for risk

  • Support KYC/AML compliance efforts from a security perspective


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, InfoSec, or DevSecOps

  • Strong knowledge of network, application, and cloud security principles

  • Familiarity with monitoring, SIEM tools, and vulnerability scanning

  • Good understanding of secure authentication and encryption protocols

  • Experience working with incident response and disaster recovery plans

  • Ability to think like an attacker and defend accordingly

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience in the crypto or fintech sector

  • Knowledge of blockchain security practices

  • Familiarity with DDoS mitigation and WAF tuning

  • Security certifications (CEH, OSCP, CISSP, etc.)
